How is your pricing structured?
We charge a flat monthly rate, never an hourly one, so the amount you agree to is the amount you pay. Your rate depends on which plan you need and how much activity runs through your business, so we quote it after a short conversation rather than applying a one-size-fits-all number. There is no charge for that conversation.
Do you only work with businesses in Canton?
No. Putnam Accounting Solutions is based in the Canton, Ohio area and works with small businesses nationwide. Everything is handled remotely, so your location does not limit whether we can help.
What if I am months or years behind on my books?
That is one of the most common reasons businesses come to us. We handle catch-up and cleanup work for prior periods, reconcile your accounts back to the bank, correct miscategorized transactions, and rebuild financials you can file from. Cleanup is quoted separately from the monthly plans because the scope varies.
What accounting software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks Online as a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, which means we are trained and tested on the platform and can clean up an existing file or set one up from scratch.
